Even though there was a six month spread between Om Shanti Om and Tashan, it has been an array of musical releases for Vishal-Shekhar. Bhoothnath followed Tashan and now De Taali has also hit the stands. After a very right (Tashan) and a homely average (Bhoothnath) affair, 1 has unspoilt expectations from De Taali primarily because the film boasts of a young and energetic cast of Ritiesh Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Ayesha Takia and Rimi Sen. Since the quartet has ordinarily been associated with films comprising of music that is fun and spirited, one expects the same from De Taali as well, especially with Vishal Dadlani himself doubling up as the film's lyricist. Well, the expectation is indeed met as De Taali turns out to be an enjoyable record album!
20 seconds into 'Everybody Put Your Hands Together' and you can find your neck swaying with the song's beats.

Mary J Blige Tour Postponed
With great disappointment Chugg Entertainment today announced that the highly anticipated Mary J Blige tour, scheduled to commence in Perth on Tuesday 10th June would be postponed until November of this year.
Citing weariness from an overwhelming tour schedule, the artists management confirmed overnight that Mary J Blige would not be able to go ahead with her commitment to a June tour, which was scheduled to include four Australian arena shows in five days, then followed by two back to back shows in New Zealand.
Chugg Entertainments Executive Chairman, Michael Chugg supported the artists decision and agreed it would not be feasible to proceed with the tour as planned and risk health complications or undue stress for the artist. Mary J Bliges management have confirmed that a tour will go ahead in November 2008. Full details regarding rescheduled dates will be announced at the end of the month.
Mary J Blige issued the following statement:
I assure you that the November shows will be well worth the wait.
I am so disappointed that I wont be able to make it to Australia and New Zealand for the June tour as planned. I want to thank all of my wonderful fans who supported the announcement of my first tour in these countries and I cant tell you how excited I was to come down in June and put on a show for you all - Postponing these shows has been an extremely difficult decision for me and I am sincerely sorry that I will not be able to fulfil my tour commitments, but I assure you that the November shows will be well worth the wait.
Michael Chugg shared his disappointment at the decision to postpone the tour:
Im sorry to be breaking this news so close to Marys scheduled arrival, I know she has a lot of fans around Australia and New Zealand who were excited at the chance to see her. Mary is a superstar and I can only respect her decision. I would never want to pressure an artist to perform, and I would never want to put on a show that will be anything less than the best show the fans will see. All I can say is be patient and count the days until November, as I have no doubt she will put on show that will give you goose bumps. Ive seen this girl perform and its nothing short of spectacular.
All tickets purchased and issued for the June tour dates will be valid for the re-scheduled shows. Chugg Entertainment has advised patrons wanting a full refund to check www.chuggentertainment.com for details on the process, but strongly suggests fans hold on to their tickets until Monday 30th June when more information is released regarding the rescheduled dates.
Please check www.chuggentertainment.com for FAQs and updates as they happen.

Lil Wayne's 'Lollipop' still has flavor on Hot 100
Five songs from 'Tha Carter III' on this week's chart
NEW YORK -- With his new album "Tha Carter III" poised to debut next week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Lil Wayne begins a fifth week atop the Hot 100 with "Lollipop" featuring Static Major. Five songs from "Tha Carter III" are on this week's tally, and Wayne also appears as a guest on charting tracks from Usher and Lloyd.
Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" inches up from No. 3 to No. 2, another high water mark for the U.K. band. Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" drops from No. 2 to No. 3, while Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" and Rihanna's "Take a Bow" trade places at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.
The songs at positions 6-8 -- Usher's "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy, Jordin Sparks' "No Air" featuring Chris Brown and Ray J & Yung Berg's "Sexy Can I" -- all stand pat. Natasha Bedingfield's "Pocketful of Sunshine" jumps from No. 11 to No. 9 and Madonna's "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake holds at No. 10.
The Pussycat Dolls' "When I Grow Up" is the chart's greatest digital gainer, its 34,000 downloads spurring a 76-31 jump. Young Jeezy has the top debut with "Put On" featuring Kanye West, which opens at No. 36. The rapper's next Def Jam album, "The Recession," is due in August.
On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Keyshia Cole's "Heaven Sent" dethrones Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" after a six-week reign. "Heaven," which jumps from No. 3 to No. 1, gives Cole her third chart-topper from her "Just Like You" album.
Carrie Underwood also achieves her third No. 1 from a single album ("Carnival Ride"), as "Last Name" climbs 5-1 on Hot Country Songs. It's Underwood's sixth chart-topper here overall.
There's no change at the top of Billboard's rock charts; Weezer is No. 1 on Modern Rock with "Pork & Beans" for a sixth week, and Disturbed's "Inside the Fire" tops Mainstream Rock for a sixth as well.
